Mary's family visits, Father's Day, and Family BBQ...

On Wednesday, June 12 Mary and her girls arrived in MN for a week long visit.  On Saturday, we attended the Strawberry Festival parade as a family, but were rained out of the fair.  Mary and the girls planned to stay with us on Saturday night, so we moved to plan B and took them to Cowboy Jacks for dinner.  We had a great night together!

We dared Elizabeth into riding the electronic bull! :)  She has a true Texas heart!

 We all enjoyed a campfire...thankfully the rain subsided!

The following day was Father's Day!  I am so thankful that my boys have such an incredible Dad!  
The boys surprised Jay with a footprint poem and handmade cards!

On Sunday, the rest of Jay's family joined us for BBQ.  Everyone helped out with the food which made it very easy to prepare for.  It was time well spent together!
