April 23rd...

Many of you are aware, but I felt the need to blog about our weather so I can remember for years to come.  This has been a very snowy spring!

Here is a picture I took on April 23rd...

 I sure wish that grill could be used right now...

No this isn't just one weird snowy day.  It truly has not stopped snowing since November!  We have had 6 straight months of SNOW!  Please let the sun come out!!!!!

Summer vacation is just 5 weeks away!  I guess we will just skip spring this year!

Easter 2013

This year we had my parents and my sister's family over on Saturday for a brief get together.  I did not take many pictures.  We had a nice casual time together!

The boys begged for me to buy them a "Honey Bunny" at Great Harvest Bread Co.  It was a whopping $13.00, but since it was a healthy "treat" I was all in!  How cute is that!?

 Matt and Jay played some guitar for entertainment!

 ET "taught" Andy the piano.  I absolutely loved how Andy played along.  What a guy!

 That night the boys set out carrot sticks and carrot cake for the Easter bunny!

In the morning they were greeted with Easter baskets plum full of gifts!  ET received  The Rise of the Guardians movie, a Captain America Lego set, and a book titled "Duck! Rabbit!"  Nate received The Peter Pan movie, two new Rescue bots, and a book titled, "Marsupial Sue!"  No candy this year!  The Easter bunny must earn a reward for that!

On Sunday we headed over to Grandma Mavis's house for the day.  Here are the kids playing Dominoes...

I love that ET truly knew and celebrated the true meaning of Easter this year!  What an awesome promise that we have to hold on to!

Daycare Easter Celebration!

We had a blast celebrating Easter on Friday, March 29.  I was thrilled that Emmett was home from school on this day so he could join in on the fun!

I took the easy way out this year.  Nothing homemade, but the kids still loved it!  I can't say it tasted as good though.

Decorating Easter Eggs!

This was Nathan's first year participating in decorating the Easter eggs!  They both did a great job!

Here is Nathan's cheesy smile!  It has been such a struggle to get him to eat hard-boiled eggs.  That is until we died them his favorite color.  Then voila!  It's like magic - they went down in no time!  What a goof!
