Christmas at Scott and Tammy's...

We went to Scott and Tammy's again on Christmas Eve this year!  The food and company was perfect!  I love having these traditions to look forward to every year!

Best photo to date of Bob carving the turkey!  I love this!

Emmett and Uncle Dick singing "Rudolph."

I love Emmett's reaction to Bob's gag gift...an onion!
Paul's parents gave very memorable gifts to him and his siblings this year.  Many many wonderful photos from years past!  Darlyn actually made a scrapbook and wrote bits of information next to each of the photos!  I cannot tell you how much I enjoy looking at this scrapbook, and how much our family will cherish this for year to come!!!!! We are so thankful!!!!!
We ended the night playing LRC again!

What a great photo!

Christmas with Paul's side...

On Monday, December 22nd we hosted Paul's side for Christmas.  We had a great time!  I am really hoping these reunions continue even though Elizabeth is in college now.  Everyone is getting older, but I just truly cherish our time together!
My sweet Mother-in-Law cooked the meatballs with gravy again, and the carrots.  I provided the mashed potatoes, and a raspberry jello mold.  Paul smoked ribs, Mary brought lefse, and Darlyn and I both made sweets.  It all tasted amazing!!!

The kids had fun playing games together!
Nathan and Emmett got their FAVORITE movies from Grandma and Grandpa and money to purchase a year membership to the zoo!  They were on cloud 9!  Funny story though...Emmett actually went to his bedroom, got some money from his jar and gave it to Grandma Darlyn for the movie.  He was so thankful, that he felt this was the appropriate way to say, "Thank you."  It made us all laugh!  What a sweetie though!

First gag gift of the year...a Pokemon game for Paul!  We actually had fun playing this one with the boys though!  Thanks Leal family!
Nate got Paw Patrol, and Emmett got the real Peter Pan movie...
I love these photos!  Hog pile on Mary!!!!!
Wasn't long before everyone got in on it...
Even Papa Bob!  This just makes me laugh!  I love it!

Christmas songs on the piano...

Emmett is getting so good on the piano.  I just LOVED listening to him play Christmas songs this year, and he truly enjoyed it as much as we did!

Christmas with my side...

On Saturday, December 20th I hosted a few members of my family for Christmas.  I served shredded turkey sandwiches, loaded hash-brown potatoes, and a jello mold.  My sister brought a kale salad, one appetizer, and the pies.  My Mom and Dad handled the rest of the appetizers and the buns.  It was all so delicious!  I was also happy that Matt's girlfriend could come for her first time, and my parents even picked up my Grandparents!
The boys loved picnicking on the floor...
We recently purchased a new dining room table, and so we were excited to sit at it fully extended with family!

My parents got the boys big stuffed animals.  They were so happy!

Emmett has been wanting a big teddy bear for so long, but I couldn't justify spending money on something like that.  Luckily for him, my mom felt differently.  He has sleeps with every night, and walks around the house with it all the time.

Nathan took this picture.  Pretty good!
So cute!
