Paul's Birthday

When we returned from Chicago we headed over to Stillwater to take a tour of the Lift-Bridge Brewery. Paul had been wanting to do this for quite some time, but the timing never worked in our favor. Later that Saturday night we went out to Danny's restaurant with friends and listened to live music.

Being that we just got back from Chicago, we didn't do anything over the top for Paul's actual 41st birthday (which was on a Monday). He wanted to celebrate his birthday at the Tavern. It was a special night relaxing and breaking away from routine. I love this man!

Jay's Music...

I am so proud of my man! He is finally playing music again!!!! We love that Jay is taking time for himself and feeding his soul exactly what it needs!

Jay will be playing at Yo-Joe's and the American Motorsports once a month regularly now. Be sure to check him out if you have the time!

Jay's 37th Birthday!!!

On Wednesday, we celebrated Jay's birthday. He picked out a few necessities the week before, and insisted that we not buy any other gifts at this time. Jay badly wants a bike, so I made a promise to get him one in the spring. We surprised him on his lunch brake with many homemade cards from myself, ET, Nate, all the daycare kids and even Eddie the cat. :) ET made him a wooden frame. His letters have greatly improved so you can actually read that he wrote "I love you" on it. I made a nice dinner of boneless spare ribs with a homemade BBQ sauce, roasted baby red potatoes, and corn. For his birthday cake, I made a butter brickle frozen desert...Mmmmm! ET serenaded us with "Happy Birthday to you...Cha Cha Cha! Where's my Coca Cola!" It was a nice evening.
