One-on-One with Nate

After Nate's friends left on Saturday, April 20th we headed outside for the day.  The weather was absolutely gorgeous!!!  I walked, and Nate rode his bike to the park.

Then we walked/rode to the library!
This was Nate's first time.  He loved helping me check out the books we would need for preschool!
We kept walking/riding all the way to Subway!  We ate lunch together out on the patio.
Not the greatest smile here, but the sun was shining in his eyes...
He rode his bike all the way home!  He LOVED it!
When we got home we fell asleep in the living room and took a nap together.  It was such a blissful day!

Nate's 1st Sleepover!

On the weekend of April 19th and 20th, Paul and Emmett left for a Father/Son retreat at Covenant Pines Bible Camp.  I wanted to do something special for Nate, so he and I didn't feel too cooped up all weekend.  We invited two of his closest aged friends from the daycare over for a sleepover on Friday night!  The boys had a lot of fun!

Pizza and chocolate milk!  Two of Nate's favorites!
The boys played in the yard.  It was a beautiful night!

They are checking out the bunnies and squirrels in the neighbor's yard...

Hide 'n' seek...
Cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater!!!!
Smelly markers!
Smelly markers have not changed a bit!
I had the boys close their eyes while I set out the new "How to Train a Dragon 2" movie, and the matching guys and dragon toys to go along with it!
They were so psyched!!!

Showing off their boyish super hero moves!!!
Ice cream with sprinkles!
Surprisingly, these boys were entertained with puzzles for a really long time!
I set up the inflatable mattresses in the living room and blew up glow-in-the-dark balloons!

10:30...time for bed....
They slept hard!  This is the morning after.  The sun was shining, and even I was up before any of them!

Breakfast was donut holes with sprinkles and grapes!

It was a super fun night and Nate is already asking when we can do it again!

What a cutie!

I love this little guy SO MUCH!!!!

One Dog Canoe...

On April 12th my Aunt Nancy and I took Logan and my boys to a play at Hopkins Theatre.  It was such a fun play titled, "One Dog Canoe."  We had such a great time together!  After the play, we went out to eat at Applebee's!  We can't wait to plan another day together soon!

This photo cracks me up!  The boys are squinting from the sun, but they are both closing the same eye!  They look like twins!

Becky's 40th Birthday...

My oldest sister Becky turned 40 on March 20th.  I took her out to celebrate!  We had such a fun day together, and I had fun spoiling her!  I LOVE my sisters!

We started out having breakfast at the Original Pancake House in Roseville with our Aunt Diane!  My Aunt Diane is so loving and so involved in our lives!  I could not have been more happy that she was there to start our day on a positive note!

Next, I took Becky to a spa where we sat side-by-side and had a hydrating pedicure!  Such fun sister time!

We went shopping in Woodbury and bought matching scarves and some fun jewelry at Charming Charlies!  After shopping, we went to a wine bar and then we went to a Sushi restaurant for a late lunch!  It was a perfect day!

Preschool Moments...

Here are a few preschool photos of Nate.  I look at these with a very grateful heart!  I am so thankful I can be with him everyday!  He is such a gift!

He is old enough to hop the fence and retrieve the balls!
